It was actually the best-selling Chevrolet model during 1953-54, offering a balance of style and luxury appointments unavailable in the base 150 series, but was less costly than the top-of-the-line Bel Air. Two-Tens offered the widest choice of body styles for 1953, including a convertible, Sport Coupe hardtop, two and four door sedans and four door station wagons. This particular car is one very fine example in it's original factory color with a matching color coordinated interior. Factory options included; Heater & Defroster, stem wind clock, windshield wipers, two spoke steering wheel, stainless steel full length bodyside molding, stainless side window surrounds, stainless windshield beltline, rear gravel shield, and rocker panel trims. The car was reportedly restored as required in 2010 by its previous owners. The original spare wheel is in it's rightful storage place in the trunk. The 235.5 upgraded 6 cylinder engine with dual carbs is extremely strong and this particular car drives very well - must be driven to be fully appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles. In summary this is one very fine mostly all original survivor restored only as required, with paint and interior etc, of a 1953 Chevrolet Two Ten 2 Door Sedan with desirable upgraded modern components and which still has the classic original 210 look - a wonderful example of America's favorite 1950's classic car!
