Alright, the time has come... PENNY is for sale! This truck is an all original TEXAS truck through and through. Residing in beautiful Boerne, TX for a majority of its life, it was super dry and rust free, and, is even more so now! FULL FRAME OFF BUILD Lets start from the top!
This gorgeous 1964 Chevy C10 stepside-shortbed has earned such a nice patina throughout the years, we decided to keep it alive and clear it with a matte paint sealer. Brand new tinted glass all around the truck, immaculate roof and drip rails. Cab fenders and bed are all dry and clean. Bed floor is finished out with wood, along with a box that houses the air ride goods. "Penny" is rolling on some brand new American Racing 20" Ralliy wheels. The frame we has stripped all the way down and sealed with gloss black frame paint, CPP 2.5" drop spindles, disk brake conversion and brake booster Brand new POLY bushings on the entire truck. New trailing arms with 2" drop blocks, new trailing arm support bracket with driveshaft loop. Brand new trans support. Brand new extended-adjustable panhard bar. New Yukon axles, new real brake, and new brake lines on the whole truck. Full complete 27685 Air Lift brand 3p air ride kit, along with a full set of brand new shocks. Air ride has 3 "set" ride heights that can be adjusted, or manual mode too. Controller and bluetooth. The powerhouse in this c10 is the "ol-reliable" iron block 5.3 with 799 heads with all new gaskets, seals and sensors. New oil pump and LS retrofit oil pan. We put a sloppy stage 2 cam in it with a 2600 stall converter, all connected to a COMPLETE REBUILT 4l60e with shift kit and warrantee. Longtube headers with h-pipe to side exit exhaust done by Rowdy Flannigin! Aluminum radiator with efan, and also power steering conversion. Truck runs around 190 degrees idling with ac blasting... EVEN in the Texas heat. Best thing we did was use the HOLLY EFI gas tank and relocation kit to send that big thing to the rear frame to open up the cab! Cab is fully triple layer sound deadened with new door seals and zero air leaks or rattles. Its like driving in a new car (minus the gorgeous sounds this truck makes). Penny has a new carpet, clean painted interior along with a brand new black leather bench. Dakota Digital c10 gauges. Vintage air conditioning and heat. It will freeze you, or boil you, out of the cab haha. We installed a bluetooth reciever in the truck with kicker 800w amp, 10" sub woofer and a few 6x9 speakers throughout the cab.
"Penny" was a build that took many many man hours, every nut bolt and screw has been replaced. Every body panel and frame has been degreased cleaned and gone over before re-assembly. This truck is 59 years old, and now its ready to go another 100! Cruise 90 mph with ease on these Texas highways, and maybe even faster ;) People stare at this truck, people come and talk to us daily in this truck, people ask us to start the truck all the time.
