1972 Chevrolet Caprice Additional Info:

1972 Chevrolet Caprice 2 Door Hardtop. This car has been driven very seldom over the past 51 years with only having 17,366 original miles! Numbers matching 400 CI V-8 (small block) mated to a numbers matching automatic transmission. Car is fully loaded with factory air, power steering, power brakes, light green vinyl top, factory mats, factory cruise control (which actually works), and rear colored fender skirts, which come with the vehicle, but are not currently on the car. Here is a list of repairs or upgrades performed: 1.) A/C professionally rebuilt by "Cool Air" in North Richland Hills, TX with a new dryer, compressor, POA valve, and expansion valve (using R12 freon); 2.) new HEI spark plugs, wiring, etc. installed to improve reliability; 3.) new rear springs and isolators, plus front springs installed; 4.) new heater core installed; 5.) upgraded stock Caprice wheel covers to Chevy wire wheel covers; 6.) new Kenwood AM/FM radio installed to replace the original equipment factor AM radio. NOTE: Dash was not cut to accommodate the new radio. All window glass, bumpers, headliner, lenses, mirrors, dash, and emblems are like new; there are no tears or cracks in the seat covers, headliner, or dash.
I have owned the car for the past 17 years. The car was previously owned by the General Manager of Breakaway Honda in Greenville, South Carolina where he had it professionally painted. This car is rust-free, has always been garaged, and has been meticulously maintained throughout the course of its life. I have numerous parts, literature, and manuals which will be included with the vehicle. This car is turn-key ready for you to just enjoy an extremely rare classic. Please feel free to ask any questions you have.
