Hello everyone, I am here today to talk about my 1967 Camaro RS for sale. The car started out its life as a Late September build from 1966. This car was born with a 327, a four speed manual transmission, Granada Gold paint, deluxe white interior with fold down rear seat, and the Rally Sport package, among smaller options I will include later on in this write up. As of 2023, this car has stood the test of time. Still wearing Granada Gold paint(one repaint I would guess in the 1980s), the original matching numbers 327, the car has been given a refreshed 660 case muncie, as for when I purchased the car, the granddaughter of the original family couldn’t drive a stick-shift. So, they tucked the clutch pedal under the carpet, and installed a powerglide. Once I took ownership, I knew I had to put it back to its former glory of having a factory four speed.
Over the course of the last two years, I have done the following:
Engine
-Oil Filter Adapter
-Cap/Rotor
Transmission
As of the last month or so
-Installed fresh 660 case muncie
-hurst competition plus linkage
-fresh clutch,pressure plate,flywheel,etc
-freshly balanced and painted driveshaft
Exhaust:
Brand new exhaust front to back (Tame, but enough nice enough to hear)
Brake System:
-New Brake lines
-New front drum brakes
-turned rear drums
-I believe previous owner installed new master cylinder
Fuel System
Brand new fuel tank
Brand new fuel line front to back
New Sending unit
Tires/Wheels
Brand new tires front and rear
Stock Steel wheels
Rear end
-New fluid, and axle bearings
-New shocks
The camaro runs and drives good, the matching numbers 327 is a 210hp 2 barrel car and just loves to run. It has a small ways to go to be a 100% drive anywhere car. This car has good oil pressure, and stays at temperature in traffic. I have most of the parts to finish this light project. I will be including almost all of the parts to put the rally sport lights back on. I also bought brand new electric motors for the headlights, in the box unopened. I also have the entire kit for the front end suspension to be rebuilt. Otherwise, this car is a great running, driving, stopping example of what an original 1967 Camaro should be. The car is very solid, as for living in west Texas for most of the last 4 decades. The floors are in great shape, the trunk appears to have some small pinholes, and the rear window has a bit of the typical rust, and the passenger quarter has a small spot, but minimal compared to others. This car is located in zip code 95492. The closest airport to me is Charles Schulz Airport in Santa Rosa (STS) if desired to see in person.
