This is the real deal...a true and highly documented 1962 Kellison J-6 Panther with mounds of documentation and photos dating back to the 1960's. This highly documented Kellison Panther has everything from the factory right down to the original key chain!!! You will not find another Kellison Panther with this much original documentation. This one is as blue chipped as they come. This 1962 Kellison Panther is fresh out of a professional, comprehensive, body off frame, nut and bolt restoration. There are only test miles on the clock since completion. This Kellison J-6 Panther is one of less than 500 made, and most likely the nicest of the handful still remaining in existence. This is a blue-chip investment quality classic vehicle and very rare piece of Americana.

With less than 500 manufactured and less than a few dozen remaining, this ultra-rare, highly documented, vintage Kellison Panther is most likely the finest example in existence.
Known as the American Ferrari, due to itssleek design, race styling, and elegant looks, the Kellison Panther was made to compete against the Ferraris, Corvettes, Shelbys, and other sporting cars of the day.
This fresh, professional, comprehensive, nut and bolt, body off restoration was just completed with no expense spared. Fresh out of the shop, this Kellison Panther only has test miles on the clock! One of the very few original Panthers to make it on to a Corvette Chassis, this Kellison was built right!
The Panther is based on a 1962 Big Brake Corvette chassis and powered by a built 327 cubic inch, stack injected, small block engine which is mated to an automatic transmission.
Nearly all components are new, down to every nut, bolt and washer. Some modern upgrades have been made for driving convenience (i.e. fuel injection, electric power steering, dual tandem Wilwoodmaster cylinders, etc.). Keeping with the nostalgic and classic look, everything was kept retainingthe vintage appeal and originality.
