1968 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

This car was born Safari Yellow with a black vinyl top and black leather interior - now Triple Black because it looks better. Has power windows, brakes, and steering. Has the smog control pump still on the car, which is rare. The motor was "decked" prior to my purchase. There are no numbers on the top of the block. Although, it is believed to be the original motor to the car. I purchased the car online from a dealer in MD in 2007. The car was inspected by Tony's Corvettes prior to my purchase. The initial work on the frame, wiring harnesses, engine, new gas tank, steering components, struts, shocks, etc. was done by Corvette Specialties in VA. The car was shipped to TN and the paint was done in Memphis by a funny car shop and it is amazing (Tuxedo Black). The motor was rebuilt by Larry Snell of Snell Automotive. The mileage is since the speedo and engine work took place. No knowledge of actual miles since speedo was broken when I got the car. The car was shown in AR., and won the C3 class with the old paint job. It is a crowd pleaser! The car came to CT in 2017 and the transmission was rebuilt by Corvette Center in Newington, CT. There is nothing to rebuild on the car or major issues to adjust or fix.
Extras - It has a heat mat, an upgraded cloth top, a high wattage retro radio with iPod/iPhone hook up, new door panels and a clean interior. The speedo was rebuilt and all gauges and clock work. It cranks well, runs cool (no overheating), drives straight and lights and wipers operate properly. I have 70K invested in this car. I know it will not bring the money a matching numbers car would bring, but someone will get a great value in this car at the "buy it now" price. Serious bidders only. I'm happy to show receipts and discuss the car with active bidders.
CT test drive and or pick up if transport needed. Cashiers check or wire preferred.
