1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Additional Info:
Built 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo:
Motor, built 468 big block chevy, roller rockers, large cam with a Holley 850. Motor runs strong. Transmission is a fresh turbo 400 reverse vale body with a 3500 stall. Transmission has to be manually shifted and has a B&M pistol grip shifter. The rear end is a 9inch four linked 411 posi with strange axles. It has Mickey Thompson street ET's on it for rear tires. It is running a 150 shot NOS system that runs with a second auxiliary fuel pump. The ignition system is MSD with 8.8 wires backed up by a Mallory Hyfire VI control box. If it's sprayed the timing needs to be adjust through this. The cooling system is a new champion 4 core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It has a performance thermostat that keeps it right around 180 to 190 degrees on warm days. The car has a fiberglass hood, bumpers and trunk lid for weight reduction. The battery and NOS tank are mounted in the trunk and has the battery switch mounted out back as well. The paint on the car is decent but it does have some chips and small dings, it's not a show car by any means but looks pretty good. The interior has race buckets in the front and the stock rear seat which is in rough shape. The headliner is in good shape, has oil and temp gauges also a monster tach. There is a GPS speedometer I keep plugged in to monitor speed. Headlights, tail, blinker and wipers work, there is no heat in the car. There is no power steering or power brakes however they are disc all the way around. The door handles are shaved and the car has door poppers that are currently inop, not sure what's wrong, likely minor. The car runs okay on 91 but likes the 110 race fuel better. Has a roll cage built in that comes down past the doors. Its an old school 1/4 mile set up, it gets a lot of thumbs up and attention. Car sounds extremely healthy, has flowmasters on it currently. Deposit is non-refundable.
