**Ownership History:**

This Camaro boasts a rich history, currently being in the hands of its third owner. The first owner purchased it brand new in Virginia and cherished it until around 2005 when health issues necessitated its sale. The second owner, a true enthusiast, embarked on a frame-on restoration project, transforming the car from its original Dover White with a vinyl top to the stunning Jazz Blue shade it gleams with today. The paint scheme was painstakingly done commemorating the iconic Z-28 of the same generation.

The current owner has over 60 photos of the second owner showing the restoration process. The car was taken down to bare metal across all body panels with any rust and previous body work fully restored. Fully completed in 2006 it stayed with the second owner for an additional 11 years stored in a garage and driven to and from local car shows where it won numerous Best of Show. The current owner has owned it since 2017 where it’s been garage stored and a weekend driver.

**Great Condition:**

Rest assured, this classic car has been meticulously cared for. The body panels show no signs of rust, having undergone thorough repairs during its 2006 restoration. A careful inspection from below reveals a clean floor pan and trunk, free of any rust concerns. The paint scheme adorns this Camaro as a tribute to the iconic Z28, amplifying its visual appeal and historical significance. There are two minor scratches on the driver's side, each no more than an inch long and reparable if so desired. The paint overall is in great condition requiring little to no attention or repair unless desiring to bring it back to impeccable condition. The glass is original to the car, PPG Sunshade Solex glass.

**Interior Comfort:**

Step inside to experience the classic allure of the blue vinyl interior, complete with high-back buckets. The original seats have aged gracefully, preserving the authentic vintage feel. Each seat has a small crack in the vinyl on the outside of the bottom cushion as seen in the pics. The original seatbelts will keep you buckled into the car, but the improved shoulder belts are included with the sale and will make for a safer ride. They’re included, but not yet installed. Once inside you’ll notice the rosewood steering wheel with a working horn. The working speedometer (although it does bounce a bit) and working fuel gauge will aid in safety and help keep the driver within the limits of the law. Above you are the newly replaced headliner done in matching blue giving the interior a rich, restored look and feel. In front of you on the dash will be the tachometer. To your lower right below the RetroSound BT receiver are the three ever important gauges showing amps, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. This is a non-AC car however the Astro-vents work well to keep the cabin cool, plus the crank windows work well to keep the cool breezes blowing.

**Updated Features:**

While the Camaro preserves its timeless charm, it also incorporates modern amenities. An updated RetroSound AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo receiver has been installed, offering convenience without compromising the original look and aesthetics. The receiver sports an iPhone charging cable connected to the USB plug in the back of the receiver. The speakers in the dash and rear deck keep the tunes going, but the subwoofer box in the trunk handles the boom. A pair of subwoofers connected to a professionally installed amplifier powering all 6 speakers. If you’re not into this look or sound the box is easily removed.

**Powerful Performance and Classic Appeal:**

Under the hood lies a robust 350HO engine from JEGS, replacing the original motor. With less than 1300 miles on it, the motor is fresh and ready to unleash its full potential. A BeCool radiator and electric fan setup keeps this beast running cool at speed or going slow taking in the sights. The three-speed transmission was rebuilt during the restoration. Equipped with MSD ignition, long tube headers, and Magnaflow mufflers, the Camaro's roaring sound will send chills down your spine, announcing its presence wherever it goes. The power steering and power brakes including front disc brakes make steering effortless and provides plenty of stopping power. Completing the vintage charm, this Camaro features 15" Cragar SS wheels, accentuating its timeless appeal. A vintage FL plate will accompany the sale as well.

**Repairs and Attention:**

As with any classic car, some minor attention is required. The tires, while not dry rotted, could benefit from replacement due to age. Additionally, front wheel bearings need to be replaced, but worry not, as the parts are included in the sale. The Camaro may need an alignment to ensure it tracks straight, asthere is some negative camber offset. The left turn signal instead of blinking when needed stays lit. As stated earlier the car is a fair-weather weekend car so the windshield wipers were never needed and are non-functional. Lastly, as with most Camaros of this generation, along each side of the tulip panel below the rear window the paint has cracked where the quarters meet the tulip. I have never tried to repair these imperfections again as the only time it sees moisture is when it gets washed, and they aren’t noticeable unless you’re looking for them. However, because a California Car Covers Plushweave Soft Cotton Flannel Lined Indoor custom car cover is on it if it's not being driven it doesn’t require a wash very often.

The asking price for this restored and powerful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is reflective of its rarity, condition, and the passion poured into its preservation. Although a classic, this car with its modern engine and rebuilt transmission is reliable enough to be your around town driver. Thisclassic beauty has to go to its next owner to make room for the next project.
