1956 Chevrolet 3100 short wheel base panel van/truck. California truck it's entire existence. No rust now, or ever. Sits on factory '56 frame, but has later model Blazers Dana axles, front and rear. With power steering, power front disc brakes, and power rear drum brakes. All from a Blazer, of the 80's. all parts are readily accessible. The Big block 455 Buick is backed with a TH400 and a NP205 Transfer case. Engine is stock except for an Edelbrock 1406 4bbl carburetor. Engine has approximately 70k miles, as does the transmission. This panel is a 4x4, with locking hubs. Everything works fine, has been driven a lot over the years, very reliable. comfortable, and quiet. could use front ball joints, but not super bad. VIN decoded: 3A 3100 series, 56 1956, O Oakland assy. plant, 005804 5,804th built. The last couple of pictures are of when it was being painted a couple of years ago. Driver quality paint, not a show job. The truck quite a bit of chrome on the interior, and it's in very good condition. All of the glass is good. Rain tight, no leaks. Good tires. lift kit. Located in Chico, California 95926. I can store for a while, at no charge while the buyer arranges transportation, if needed. I can assist with loading of the truck. Clean California title. tags expires 2 years ago, but if the buyer is in California, it's on a non-op, so no penalties.
