1969 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:
I am selling my Original 69 Nova SS, I purchased the nova about a year and a half ago. The Nova was originally purchased new in Corona CA it is a California car. I bought the Nova here on E bay and towed it home. The past owner had owned it for about ten years, he was not the one that restored the Nova. I believe that he did not drive it much do to the work I had to perform on the nova. The Nova is a matching number SS nova 350 - 300HP SB bucket seat Gauge package four speed Nova, I have a Build sheet. The Color on the cowl tag is # 61-61 = Burnished Brown and # 733 = Black vinyl buckets. The 350 300HP has been overhauled and has a mild Hydraulic flat tappet Hi output cam shaft around 350HP with Doug Thorley 4 into 2 headers with a Magna Flow Exhaust and muffler system, ( not a noisy exhaust) runs very well and the temp gauge runs cool. I personally went though the complete drive train and Interior which includes, New Battery, replacing engine oil adding Zink, Going through complete Brake system - overhauling rear wheel cylinders and replacing rear spring kit, overhauling front brake calipers and Bleeding brake system. Replaced the complete clutch includes disc, pressure plate and throw-out bearing. I had a newly rebuilt Muncie four speed M22 Rock Crusher trans (original GM Black gears) that I installed to replace the original M20 Muncie 4 speed, (still have the M20 go's with the sale) and original trans 350 Yoke. Removed the complete speedo Cluster Assembly to clean and lube speedo cable( Dialectic Grease) at the same time installed a AM-FM Retro sound Stereo with a three-way dash speaker no speakers in rear package tray. Replaced the clock with a new one from (classic Industries) all gauge, lights in dash fuel ligh, Horn properly operating correctly. When the steering column was out I removed the clutch and brake pedals to clean and lube the pedal bushings ( Dialectic Grease) also replaced clutch linkage rod from clutch pedal to bell cran, lubed and greased complete clutch linkage was not done during restoration. Removed rear seat completely and rear door panels to replace sail panels looks like new. The rear end is the original 12 Bolt rear end with a 336 gear Ratio and Posi traction. I believe all bearings and seal are replaced, No Noise, vibrations or leaks in rear end. Original body panels all the way around absolutely No rust. The Nova SS sound, runs, shifts and drives very well. Has heavy duty sway bars front and rear. I am down sizing is the reason I am selling my SS Nova. Have any Questions please ask Thank You.
