This 1978 Chevrolet K30 4x4 Crew Cab Dually, or "Big Dooley", was very highly optioned and carried an original sticker price of $11,720.54, earning the name Cowboy Cadillac when compared to the $10,399 base price of a 1978 Coupe de Ville. This is a very original truck with what is believed to be an original 44K miles. It is rust free, with the exception of typical surface corrosion, as it's lived on the West Coast since new having been sold in Carson City, NV and residing in NV and CA since.
It is finished in Frost White paint over a blue vinyl interior and carries top of the line Silverado and Camper Special packages along with AC. The one ton drivetrain consists of a 350ci V8, SM465 4-speed manual transmission, NP205 transfer case, Dana 60 front axle and Dana 70 rear axle with 4.10 gearing. Aftermarket options include an Edelbrock intake, cruise control, brake controller, and bull bar with fog and driving lights.Recent maintenance includes a rebuilt carburetor, new true dual exhaust, fresh fluids and new Crosswind M/T tires.
