1969 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

1969 Chevy Corvette 427 . Red with black interior. Rebuilt 427 big block motor by Camco Racing with only 1400 miles on it . Car has the correct big block casting codes ( Non Matching ) . Engine has lots of extras including after market stroker crank, hydraulic roller lifters, hydraulic rolling cam shaft etc. It was bored 100 over. Car well over 500 HP with rebuilt car, I have attached the build sheet to see for yourself how professional this engine was rebuilt . HEI ignition , large radiator with dual electric cooling fans .
Rebuilt 4 speed transmission with new hydraulic clutch - Holly ShifterPower SteeringPower brakes with new SS brake linesFresh Interior including carper, rear deck compartment, new center console with new emblem, data plaques and bezelsNew rear end with updated composite leaf springNew Front upper and lower control arm, bushings etc.Hooker Headers and side pipesAmerican Racing Torque Thruster WheelsGoodyear Tires have a lots of tread and are fineNew Chrome emblems on most of the car and the emblems - The emblems that I didn't replace were only because they are still in good shape. All gauges work ( except the clock )AM/FM radio with sound bar in rearEquipped with the Pop out rear window optionThe paint is about a 7-8 out of 10 with few minor blemishesCar has been maintained and serviced by one of the top auto mechanics in all of New England . Brief history : This car was originally from Michican and has a clear / clean title which at some point Michican RMV assigned a Vin # not typical or an original chevy corvette vin # but again clean and clear title . I Purchased this corvette from a owner in Texas 2 years ago . I was aware that it was a non matching # car but I was looking for a nice driver ( I own another 1969 Vette all original 427/400 Hp Tri power as my show car ) He had only driven it to small car show, cruise night etc. It had approximately 2600 miles on a rebuilt motor. Once I got the car home and after researching the engine blockbusting codes # , i found out it was a actually a 454 Chevy Big Block in this corvette . . Too most people not a big deal bc I knew this car didn't have original moto, tank sticker etc. The 454 ran perfect and I enjoyed for few months . Even though I was looking for a driver and most wouldn't care that it had the 454 BB in it and not the 427 that this car called fo, I knew that the 454 didn't come along until 1970 . I have 427 badging all over the car so I needed to find a original 427 block which I did . I had the 427 rebuilt to my satisfaction and took out the 454 and installed the rebuilt 427. The car drives beautifully with tremendous power and torque . Iv had five C-3 corvettes and this is the most fun to drive . I was torn whether to sell this one or my 1969 Tri power matching # s car which is worth big bucks so I guess this one is going. I have won a few small car shows with it and it turns heads everywhere with its look and rumble from the headers side pipe set up. Everything works including the vacuum wiper door, headlights etc. Im well into this car for over $60k and have documented receipts for all the work . Videos of car upon request . I know I won't recoup all this money on re-sale only bc its a non match # car and paint is slightly above average . Being a long time corvette guy, I, like others, are starting to not worry so much about whether car is 100 % original and as you can see their is a big push towards resto-mods on these classic muscle cars . If your looking for head turning fast vette to just enjoy drivin, this car is for you ! Im pretty firm on price.that I'm looking for and if I don't get satisfactory price, Ill gladly just keep driving all summer . i am not desperate to sell this car so happy bidding and see what serious bids I receive
