Car was a complete frame off down to bare metal restoration done in 2010. Was originally built here in Van Nuys, California. It's a California car. No rust.
Newer 350 late model Vortec motor, Mild cam. Edelbrock Carburetor & intake. Hedman chrome headers. X pipe crossover exhaust with flowmasters. Chrome tips. TH350 trans, 2200 stall converter, 10 bolt rear end. All drive train has less than 10,000 miles. Frame was powder coated. Has the SS non cowl hood and SS dash. Rear tailgate is a 68 for the smooth look. Drip rails were removed to give smooth look. Interior is beautiful and was completely redone in black. Standard bench seat. Has a nice custom stereo with amps and custom rear panel with subwoofers. New carpet and headliner. Billet steering wheel. Factory tilt wheel. Power windows, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning. LED dash panel bulbs and interior bulbs. Car is lowered 2 inches with tubular front control arms and boxed rear control arms. New gas shocks front and rear. New brakes, rotors, drums, rear wheel cylinders and brake master cylinder.
This car was completely media blasted when it was restored. Car runs VERY well. Motor is snappy. Trans shifts tight. I took the time to remove the dash and seal all the vents and get all the vacuum doors working correctly. The bed has Rhinoliner covering. The chrome is perfect.
Now for the negatives. Some bamboo poles fell on the hood in front and left 2 tiny dents that could be removed by a paintless dent repair shop. The rear tailgate was pushed in by my own 2004 Tahoe by mistake in the driveway. The paint is checking and cracking in some areas because the body was not prepped correctly when it was originally painted. So. Eventually, this car will either need a repaint, or...you could just to the spot repairs & blend. It's a single stage paint. The left rear corner was backed up into a concrete pole and pushed the taillight bezel in a tiny bit and will require some minor body work to repair. I have a new $50 bezel for it and lense. Will need new tires due to cracking. Lastly, the windshield has a small crack. Was on the freeway this summer and a rock hit it. Was perfect before that. This car is a driver ready to drive anywhere. All the gauges work and so does the clock. The only reason I’m selling it is because I have two other projects and I could use the extra room. Its a $20,000 to $25,000 car with the few repairs needed. I know...I've been looking.
Otherwise, it's ultra clean. Please only serious buyers.
I don’t need any help selling this. Located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.
