Roadrich Motors is proud to present this meticulously built 1967 C10 in Smokey Blue with Candy White as the secondary color. This tastefully reimagined example of Chevrolet's highly sought after 1967-1972 shortbed C10 lineup was built by Ambition Road in 2016 in an all-encompassing, no expense spared process that cost over $280,000! When commissioning the build, the owner's goal was to maintain a classic feel while utilizing modern touches that would enhance performance and drivability. After completion, this C10 instantly became a hit, winning numerous awards that include: 2017 Goodguys Truck of the Year Late finalist, 2016 Goodguys PPG National Builder's Choice award, 2016 Goodguys Southeast Nationals Builder Choice, and QCCC All Chevy Charity Hendrick Performance Pick. Ambition Road, a custom shop in North Carolina that specializes in turn-key builds, pro-touring and resto-mods, and high-end show cars, is owned by Aaron Elenbaum. Aaron is an expert fabricator who previously worked for Detroit Speed and has been referred to as an "artist when it comes to fabrication". Aaron was given the reins on the project by the owner of the C10 and instructed to transform it into what you see here today, a properly built and no shortcuts masterpiece.
Starting with full disassembly, media blasting, boxed rails for extra strength and notched front and rear for the desired ride height, Ambition Road utilized Roadster Shop REVO front/rear suspension components along with AFCO coilovers. All four wheels use 14-inch Baer disc brakes with six-piston calipers. Once the rolling chassis was ready, a GM Performance LS3 was installed and topped with a Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger, increasing power output to 533 WHP! The powerplant is mated to a 4L80E transmission by Bowler Performance. A Borla stainless 3-inch exhaust system and custom stainless headers provide a throaty and deep yet not over-the-top sound.
A long list of body modifications was made that includes: shaved locks, reshaped driprails, filled gas filler door, reshaped lower bed side panels, raised bed floor, modified bedrails, filled stake pockets, widened wheel tubs with inverted flanges, fabricated front inner fenders, smoothed firewall, and panels gapped. Stock fenders and hood keep the traditional look while a fabricated honeycomb insert grille was added. Marquez LED taillights and Philips LED headlights really add to the curb appeal, and give the truck a unique look day or night. Open the tonneau cover or tailgate and you will be greeted with a gorgeous stained oak bed with stainless steal inserts between the slats, another fantastic addition that brings the overall aesthetic up even more. The C10's paint was completed by Dutchboys Hotrods, another bespoke company known for their various SEMA builds and sought after for their incredible work on high end builds. The Smokey Blue/Candy White is perfectly complemented by the Advanced Plating Transparent Smoke powdercoating on the trim pieces. The color is appropriately based on the smoked titanium finish of the Night Train Rushforth Wheels. The 20-x12 and 19x10 Rushforth Night Train wheels look stunning and Michelin Pilot Sport performance tires fit just right in 335/30zr20 and 275 /35zr19.
Inside, the C10 features custom touches including Budnik steering wheel, Vinate Air AC, custom dash insert and LED accent lighting, and of course the M&M Hot Rod Interiors custom interior trim throughout in distressed leather by Relicate.
It is rare to see a truck that has this level of custom fabrication, attention to detail in every carefully selected component, and overall man hours put into making it special and unique. Every brand used is industry-leading and anyone who contributed to the build in any way did so because they are known to be the best possible individual or company for that particular role. This is a truck that can win shows and actually be enjoyed on the drive there. Contact us for more questions or to add this one-of-a-kind C10 to your collection today!
