1978 Chevy square body 2WD C-10 Truck, V-8, Automatic, Runs GREAT!

1978 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

1978 Chevrolet C-10 Square Body 2WD. Condition is "Used".Very limited driving last couple years....normally drives only 3-4 times per years, normally about 30-50 miles each time. This truck runs very well. chevy 350 engine, Built 350 Turbo automatic transmission (built professionally for Heavy Hauling), headers, Edelbrock 4 Barrel carb with electric choke, Power steering, Power Brakes, Very Heavy Duty Rear suspension (approx. 2600 LBS each side, and NEW couple years ago!). Tires have plenty of tread and are in very good condition. I believe gear ratio is 4.11........will do interstate speeds, but at higher rpm than normal for a V-8, This is not the original rear end! Accurate Mileage is unknown!!
Very strong running truck!!!!! Frame is solid, but like all frames it does have surface rust, I bought this truck in Texas 27 years ago and have mostly controlled its exposure to the salt ever since. I replaced the water pump and lower hose last yearTypical old chevy hood that tries to 'buckle' when closing......would probably be best to replace hood.Like many other older vehicles, it has many flaws all around......it is a 42 year old truck that has been used as a truck over its lifetime!
