The car has been professionally built by a local mechanic/classic car enthusiast - a labor of love for the owner, and it shows. The following are all the details on the build, which was finished in late spring of 2020:
Motor: 409 (1962 block) bored 30 over, stock crank, clevite bearings, Ross Racing Forged rods and pistons. 10.5:1 compression, Comp 48-602-5 thumper cam, heads 3819333, stainless valves, brass valve guides, ARP throughout, comp 1.7 rockers, comp springs, crane hardened push rods, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, Brawler 750 cfm street carb, MSD Billet distributer, 6AL 2 ignition box, stock manifolds to Xpipe, cherry bomb chambered mufflers, axle dump, Tanks Inc efi fuel tank with walbro 255 pump to Fuel pressure regulator, all 6an. Edelbrock High Flow water pump, Summit Racing 4 row radiator with 2 electric fans and shroud.
Transmission: Muncie is all new, upgraded case, billet mid plate, tail housing, McLeod Clutch, Ram Billet flywheel, ARP hardware, Hurst competition shifter
Rear End: 12 bolt, Nitro hardened 30 spline axles, Yukon gearset 3.08s, Auborn Select-a-lock differential, QuickTime Performance cover.
Suspension: Airslamit Air Ride brackets and bags, Accuair VT tank and E level system, two Airmaxxx 580 compressors, factory control arms with Poly bushings, Properformance ball joints, UMI adjustable panhard bar, MOOG steering components, Borgeson quick ratio steering box, type 2 powersteering pump with billet reservoir, Earls AN power steering lines and fittings, new stock spindles
Brakes: CPP big brake kit 13" front (c5) and 12" rear, drilled slotted rotors, red calipers (+5hp) all new lines, Line Lock
Wheels: Coys C33 smoothie 18 front 20 rear with Red line tires and factory 11" dogdish caps.
Finishing Touches: All New Glass, smoked, all new weather gaskets, lots of new trim pieces. Dakota digital gauges (red backlit) AEM afr guage, dash holes shaved to eliminate pad, custom trim pieces, custom red LED accent lighting, Painless wiring kit, custom breaker panel for individual shutoffs, Optima battery, Retrosound Bluetooth radio with 8 speaker sound system. Kilmat sound deadening covers every inch on the interior, new carpet, new door sills, all new screws and hardware, new headliner, new package tray, it is missing the rear glass interior corner trim, LED dome lighting, front bucket brackets were modified for a more comfortable seating position, horn works ;)
Paint and Body: Car was restored 15 years ago, frame off, new truck pan and quarters. Paint is driver quality. Body straight without waves. It wears original bumpers too.
