1986 GMC K3500 4X4 Dually

1986 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 Additional Info:

1986 K3500-82,954 Miles
-Carbureted 350 Chevy engine-Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission-4x4
Truck was originally a 6.2 Diesel and was swapped at some point to the 350.
This truck is a factory cab-and-chassis truck which means it came equipped with heavier frame, running gear, etc. It has a factory Corporate 14-bolt rear end with 4:10 gears and a Dana 60 front axle, heavy 1 ton springs in the rear with helpers, etc.
Truck has a dumping flatbed on the rear that is electric over hydraulic setup. It all works BUT the dump cylinder needs to be resealed or replaced (leaks)
Truck starts, runs, drives, and all functions work. Shifts fine. Brakes are all new within the last 2 years and work great. 4X4 works great.
Rear crossmember was fabricated and replaced a few years ago.
Running a bit rough right now as it's been sitting for the last year or so. Im sure it just needs a tune up.
Frame is in good shape, much better than most around here. I stripped it and painted the whole thing a few years back.
CAB needs work as you can see in the photos.
Door lowers have been repaired in the past and it's showing thru.
Rear hitch plate was fabricated new last year by a master welder and is set up to pull 10,000 pounds. Wiring all new in rear. Wired for a trailer brake.
All lights work.
Heater works.
Tires all have good tread but are fairly old and are getting weather cracked.
Have been picking away at it with the plan of fixing body rust last but my plans have changed. I pulled the interior rubber floor so you can see for yourself in the interest of full disclosure.
This would be a real nice heavy-spec workhorse truck with some more work.
