INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME.
Pictures do not come close to doing this car justice. It really needs to be seen/driven to be appreciated and to realize that it is just a cut above most every other one that you will find. If you have wanted an extremely nice Nova wagon and are tired of looking at overpriced junk, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU! This is an awesome 1967 Chevrolet Nova Station Wagon that is just beautiful. It has had many tasteful modifications done to improve the drivability without losing any of the original character or lines of the car. It has been driven on the Hot Rod Power Tour cross country drive two different times. It has a Tuned Port Fuel Injected 350 small block Chevy V-8 from a Z/28 Camaro mated to a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission with a mild shift kit. 3.08 gears in the stock rearend. It has Vintage Air Conditioning. It cruises effortlessly out on the freeway and has even gotten 26 MPG! The car has power steering and power front disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors. It always runs at 180 degrees tops with the aluminum Be Cool radiator and electric fans. It runs and drives extremely well. It is smooth, strong, and fast. Everything under the hood has been painted, plated, chromed, buffed, or polished. The engine compartment is show quality.
The paint and body are gorgeous on the car. Factory Emerald Turquoise Green with just a touch of metallic and it looks incredible. The car is arrow straight. The gaps and lines are excellent. The fit and finish is excellent. Even inside the doors is nicely finished. Molded in remote release gas door filler. The car is rust free. As you would expect from a lifelong California/Arizona car, the floorboards and undercarriage are in excellent condition. The only spots I have noticed are a couple of minor paint chips from being driven and one small paint scratch on the passenger side rear quarter. It did not even get into the metal. It is just paint and could easily be touched up. There are also some very tiny bubbles on the passenger side rear corner of the roof. It is very minor but I want to be upfront and honest from the beginning. You have to remember that this car has been together for 20 years. You also have to remember that I am being very picky and trying to tell you every little detail so you are more than happy with your new Nova! It has proven itself and anything bad that wanted to come through would have already done it.This car may not be perfect but it is far closer than most that are out there. It has won plenty of car shows and trophies. It is well known in the Nova world. It was featured in Hot Rod Magazine in 2009. It was also featured in Car Craft Magazine in 2006.The last picture is from the Hot Rod article.
I received this from the original builder of the car who knows every inch of this car. I will be happy to put the new owner in touch with him after the sale.
"My name is Mark and the 67 Nova you're selling was my car. I was the one that built the wagon . I drove that car ALL over the USA. I live in Lakewood, California not far from you. This car has been to Michigan twice, Florida once, Nashville Tennessee once on the Hot Rod Power Tour. This car has been in many photos shoots for Target, JC Penney, and a couple of TV commercials for Hidden Valley Ranch. I had many many fun miles and memories in this car. I bought the car in 1996 with a 6 cylinder, two speed. Then I put the tune port, 700R, vintage air. I left Long Beach with 400 miles and drove it to Michigan on the hot Rod power tour and then back home. I painted the car in 2000 and same with the interior. Let me know if you or the new owner would like more info on the car. Mark"
The interior was custom crafted by Armando's Custom Upholstery in San Jacinto, California. It's a full leather-and-tweed treatment that included reshaping the seats, creating a fold-down armrest and center console, and fashioning upholstered flames in the door panels and headliner, as well as a flamed Chevy Bow Tie in the front seatback. Billet door handles and window cranks. The power rear window in the tailgate works perfectly with the switch under the dash. The interior is in excellent condition.Weld Draglite 15x3.5 wheels wrapped in Kelly 165R15 rubber and 15x7 Draglites out back with 215/70R15 BFGoodrich TA tires.I would consider doing some horsetrading on an interesting Corvette, Muscle Car, or a steel body Hot Rod. Please be realistic with your trades. Just because you don't want your junk any more doesn't mean that I do either.Clean, clear title in hand. All in all, you will have an extremely difficult time finding a cleaner one anywhere. It is far nicer than most of them that are out there. You see a Camaro, Chevelle, or a Corvetteat every carshow. When was the last time you saw a Nova like this? You could not come close to building this Nova for what you can buy it for and be taking the whole family for ice cream or to the beach today. It is a very, very nice car but it is not perfect either. Please be realistic with your expectations. I am located in Solana Beach, CA in North County Coastal San Diego.
