1949 Chevrolet Truck
This truck is a 1949 year. No its not a barn find. Yes we did drive it out of the previous owners corn crib. It was his personal toy for bout 30 years. He states he got truck from his brother in about 1979. The title shows he put it in his name in 1982. He put this late model 6 cylinder in somewhere back in time. He was not sure of year. Nor was he sure of year of motor. IT still starts and runs ok. Has hand choke. For the year of truck it is still reasonably solid. Worst of rust was behind front fender. We got new panels from him to repair this area. They are pictured in truck. He has done many upgrades over the years of playing with the truck. He added a chrome grill. nice condition still. Chrome front bumper and chrome rear bumper. He put new glass in both doors tinted. The clutch seems to be fine. Drove around building a time or two.

He said bout 20 years ago. He drove down below Summerset Kentucky to buy the visor on front. It is a neat one and sets the old truck off. If you have time try come look at this truck, check it out! Its something to do and all our old vehicles leave here as-is. so know what you're bidding on. it is no doubt better than most old survivor trucks but still may need time and money spent on it. exhaust is good, brakes are fine, He was proud of radio that he put in. just junk! tires were put on new several years back, Show low miles. The bed is wood, don't look hot. but it is there. Come check it out. Tailgate is real good condition. Dash is pretty nice. Clear open Indiana title. I'm a notary. This thing does start very easy but it will need attention before cruising. Gas is sour. This truck was stored and will need all the attention a non used vehicle requires.
