1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Restomod Additional Info:
An iconic 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop with a slick two-tone exterior, upgraded A/C interior, and huge big block with brand new fuel injection is a classic that's always cool and always in style. Even the undercarriage shows that have been a lot of quality investments in this already desirable classic.
This one looks just like it's stepping out of the black & white TV era. That silver is a newer modern application, and the white has a great intensity, and so just like the golden age of television, together they sparkle with nostalgia. In fact, the Chevrolet emblements front and rear are almost the only hints of color, and so know you can have a ton of fun with pictures. All the brightwork even follows the same tone for a fully-coordinated look. This chrome is iconic as it separates the two paint colors along the profile. The wraparound bumpers, wide grille, and jet-inspired hood ornament all have a mirror-like appearance of a well-prepared classic. And the upgraded to 17-inch alloys were done with classic American Racing Hopster units so that nothing takes away from this very vintage look. That changes when you open the door...
The interior instantly shows off an investment to give you modern comfort. After all, they never gave you high-back bucket seats or individual armrests in the 1950s. However, even this obvious modern upgrade was done with a vintage eye. The seats have tuck and roll style pattern inserts. Plus, the upholstery, door panels, dash, and headliner are all custom fashioned to coordinate with the exterior white and silver. There are nice upgrades for the driver, like a wood and chrome sports steering wheel, and there's a custom console with a floor shifter. And everyone will enjoy the upgrade to cold-blowing air conditioning.
The shoebox Chevys might be famous for launching the small block V8s, but this coupe proves that the big blocks fit in the engine bay, too. This 454 cubic-inch motor is show-ready with great features such as the big orange block and plenty of shine on the valve covers, air grabber, alternator, compressor, and much more. Plus, it's supported by the right pieces, including upgraded pulleys and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. But what you'll really love about this big block is that its fed by a brand new FAST electronic fuel injection system on top of a Edelbrock Performance 2.0 intake. So you know you've got some serious power that also fires up better than when new (isn't that what pure nostalgia is all about?) And the rather straight set of dual exhaust pipes feeds a set of Flowmasters for a terrific big block sound. Make sure that you check out the undercarriage photos where you'll also see a clean overall presentation. Plus, power steering, power brakes w/front discs, a three-speed automatic transmission, and the modern grip of Cooper tires all make this big block coupe easy to enjoy.
Wickedly fast, nicely presented, and priced right, an iconic like this custom '55 Chevy is not going to last long in our showroom. Call now!
