1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko Clone Additional Info:

Only 720 miles since a meticulous rotisserie restoration to precise Yenko specs. Can't tell it from an original, even if you check the codes. Functions as good as it looks.
EXTERIOR: We have a 69 Camaro with outstanding fit and finish. It is absolutely better than it would have been when it left the factory. All the body panels line up completely square and flush, the doors and trunk close with hardly any effort. It is laser straight. It has a cowl hood and spoilers. It was always a code 52 Garnet red car. Every square inch of the paint looks like a red mirror. I literally did not find a nick, chip, bubble, crack or any kind of flaw. Every piece of trim has been replaced including the Yenko and 427 emblems, marker lights, bumpers, grills, tail lights, stainless moldings etc. Even the glass has all been replaced with new. Door jambs are painted and detailed, even the hinges and way into the front fender are goss finish. New weatherstrips, window fuzzies and sill plates. The 15 inch rims are painted slick and have poverty hubcaps. The red line tires are radials.
INTERIOR: Completely new and also has excellent fit. The headliner and sail panels fit tight as a drum. The visors, mirror and working dome light are new. The rear speaker tray area and the trim is all excellent and fits right. The seats have been completely rebuilt- springs are painted, has new burlap, cushions, upholstery, seat backs and headrests with SYC (Super Yenko Coupe) on them. New reproduction GM seat belts, new carpet. The dash is completely restored- all the knobs, bezels, heater controls, dash pad, vents etc. It has 140 mph speedo, vintage date coded Stewart Warner tachometer and vintage SW gauge cluster, just like what you would find in a Yenko. Factory features include a tilt column and an Am-Fm radio. New door panels, window cranks, armrests. New kick panels, the vents are new and they're functional. Yes everything is new but like the outside it was all installed properly.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very desirable, completely rebuilt, genuine 427-425 hp motor. It has 512 casting code, properly dated and the front pad was stamped with correct codes. It has the factory big port heads with the matched factory aluminum intake and a dual feed Holley carb. Complete and functional cowl induction system. All the components appear correct- the valve covers, fuel line, brackets, pulleys, reproduction hoses and clamps, Delco battery topper with spring clamp cables etc. New wiring harness, radiator, cadmium plated brake booster, brake lines, power steering pump hoses etc. Virtually everything is new. It is detailed like new.
TRUNK: Perfectly clean metal with a really nicely applied coat of spatter finish paint. The jamb and under the trunk lid are as glossy as the exterior. It has new weather strip, new wiring.
UNDERSIDE: The body was pulled from the frame and made brand new underneath. Every single component is new or rebuilt. The front steering and suspension is completely redone and detailed. It even has correct spiral shocks. In back the suspension is all new. The brake system is all new- e-brake assembly, hoses, lines etc. Upgraded with disc at all 4 wheels. New reproduction chambered exhaust system. All new fuel system- tank, straps, sending unit, lines etc. Looking up at the motor it looks new and fresh. The Muncie 4-speed is the rock crusher M-22 and properly dated. It also looks fresh. It has a correct coded 3.31 posi. The floors are spotless metal with a smooth satin black finish.
This car is right. Built by a professional with a lot of pride in his work. There are a lot of great looking Camaros with shiney paint and a bunch of new parts. This one is built right. It fits, feels and functions like a new 69 Yenko. This is also very authentic. Most clones don't have a correct 512 block, dated rock crusher trans and even spiral shocks. I can personally vouch for this one, I put 75 miles on it on a 93 degree day!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
