1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Additional Info:

Genuine Super Sport with rare factory color combination. I drove this car home, it is one of the "exceptional" ones. The motor is smooth as silk but it makes a nice 300 hp rumble out the tail pipes. Shift the 4-speed with 2 fingers. California car originally. We have original registration. That California black plate on the car belongs to this car, the plate # is on the registration!
EXTERIOR: Really sharp satin silver paint. The metal flake is laid out evenly and there's a glossy clear coat finish that's polished smooth. The trim is really impressive. Up front the grill, the moldings, headlight bezels bumpers with bumper guards all look new. The spear down the middle of the hood, trim down the sides, the emblems, bowtie mirrors, door handles have been replaced. All the stainless trim around the windows and on top of the doors are polished like chrome. It has the optional fuel door trim. In back it's all new, the tail lights, bumpers, moldings. The vent window frame and window frames are mint chrome. All of the glass is excellent, they roll up and down smooth. The oor jambs are painted real nice, new weather strips and window seals. The doors shut like new. It has correct 1964 SS hubcaps in excellent shape on some new looking radial tires.
INTERIOR: Really sharp silver interior. It's been completely restored. There's new cushions in the seat so they firm and the new upholstery fits tight with no wrinkles. The center console looks like it's new, it as the correct reverse lockout chrome shifter. New carpet on the floor, reproduction mats and deluxe seatbelts. Upgraded LED interior lights. The headliner and visors are new, fits tight as a drum. The door panels, armrests, window cranks have all been replaced. The dash pad is new, the instrument panel is restored to look like new. All the knobs, trim, steering wheel are excellent. It has a factory tachometer and upgraded AM/FM retro stereo. In the glove box is the pouch with owner's manual.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This motor runs incredibly well. All stock- manifolds, valve covers,air cleaner etc. The 300 hp has double hump heads and 4 barrel carb. Features include power steering and power brakes. It has reproduction GM hoses and clamps. Spring clamp battery cables, the battery is properly secured. Everything is very neatly painted a smooth finish. Show quality motor compartment.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: This giant trunk compartment is in excellent condition. The metal is all nice with a clean coat of gray and white spatter finish paint. It as a correct reproduction three piece mat. The spare tire is brand new on a painted rim with a complete jack assembly. The wiring harness looks new, taillight housings are new. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted real nicely. The weather strip and the back of the seat insulation are new.
UNDERSIDE: The front end was rebuilt. The bushings still look new. The power steering control valve looks new. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter looks new. The 4-speed is clean, linkage looks new. In back the springs and shocks are new. Fuel system is new including the tank, sending unit and straps. Brakes were redone, e-brake is hooked up. The exhaust neatly follows the frame, has great sounding Flowmaster mufflers. Floors are solid. The inner rockers and quarters are clean too.
This Super Sport is a sweetheart. I really enjoyed driving it. I had all my faith in the car, it functioned like new. It's a pleasure to look at too!
