Selling 1966 Chevrolet Corvair V-8. I purchased this car from the original builder. This car sat in a garage for 40+ years. The man who built & owned the car passed away and his daughter received it in her father's will. This a a crown conversion. And every part that came with the crown kit is here. It has a 1968 327 small block with a 1966 Corvair transaxle, with 4 spider gears & posi. I was so excited to get this car. I had a couple of them back in the day. But I have to be honest with you, there is was quite a bit of work that the car needed to put it back on the road. The car is a California car, with no rust. It is currently registered and is in my name with a clear title. Here is a list of what I have done: Fuel System: new gas tank, new sending unit, new electrical fuel pump, professionally re built carb, all new fuel lines. Brake System: new master cylinder, new brake cylinders, new brake shoes, new spring kits, new drums, new brake lines. Tires: new bf goodrich ta radial tires. Electrical: new battery, new battery cables, new cut off switch, new alternator with built in regulator. Drivetrain: new oil & filter for engine, new oil replaced in transaxle, new water pump, new belts, new gas filled shocks, new u-joints in 1/2 shaft, new rear hym joint bars, 2 support rear transaxles, lower corvette control arms in rear, new idler arms, new pitman arm bushings.
