1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

This is a project for sure, its actually pretty solid though except for the floor, but it comes with an original GM floor out of a 4 dr with surface rust, nice set of doors, (inner and outer) fenders needing eye brows, and hood. The trunk side walls are very good, as is the convertible top drain trough, 1/4 inner panels, dash/cowl/firewall, and door hinge pockets.Almost everything needed for the basic body and frame is good enough to use or can be repaired, and its original GM metal. This will make a very nice convertible while buying just the 1/4 panels. I have a 32 foot trailer so I can deliver it all within a 500 or so mile radius in the states for one dollar per mile, after payment is made, or you can make other arrangements.
All the convertible stainless and other convertible specific parts are there and mostly in very good condition. The conv top metal frame is all there with minor rust and looks great, and as seen in the pictures, it fits the windows perfectly.
The frame is solid, and the X member is uncut, but the end of the front frame horns are damaged as seen in the pictures.
The engine came in the car, but I don't know anything about it other than its not a tri-5 engine. The tires hold air, but the wheels are not period correct.
Chevy released a few different colors late in the 56 production year--called spring colors--and this Grecian Gold was one of them.
It has the VIN and cowl tags, but no title. I bought it in Alabama, and they don't require titles for cars older than 35 years.I will accept bank wire, or cash only
If it doesn't sell now, then I will eventually install the panels and do the welding myselfand list it again. Bid now and save, if you want it. This may seem like a lot of picturesbut I think you need to know what you are bidding on.
The top frame header bow has a rust role on this side.

The visors, top latches, and misc are all there. Someone changed the interior color to red.

Convertible regulators, and access hole covers are there, as is all the convertible specific parts.

Passenger side trunk wall

The top cylinder hose clips are even there, can you believe a long lost project like this with all the convertible parts still attached.

Drivers side trunk walls

It has the original convertible frame and it's never been cut

The hinge pocket area looks good, and the door hinges are tight,so I think thenormally rust prone hinge pocketsare good.

Both fenders are solid, except they both need headlight eye brows.

This door just has surface rust

This door does have a rust hole at the bottom corner

The bottom is good except for some holes punched in it.

I have an original 4 dr floor for this car. The floor is in good condition with only surface rustand some dents. The long (convertible only) brace will need to purchased.

The inner and outer rockers are good.
