1959 Chevrolet Corvette 283/270HP 2x4V V8 Convertible Additional Info:
West Coast Classics is proud to present an exceptional survivor example of this mostly all original and completely rust free 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible with it's believed to be original 283cid/270HP 2 x 4 barrels V8 engine with correct date correct casting # 3756519 & date code A 12 9 & assembly stamp F203CU. The car also has a date correct T10 4 speed manual transmission with the correct dual quad air cleaner, upper and lower ignition shielding, correct radiator, hoses and clamps, correct tach drive generator and the car boasts a Positraction rear end. The car will be sold with service history and records .
The car boasts what appears to be an accident free body with original bonding strips intact and with original chrome and which is finished in Corvette correct 'Inca Silver with White Coves' with a Black interior and it's original factory 'White' soft top and it's original factory 'Inca Silver' hardtop. The car has all an all new windshield and windshield weatherstripping with the windshield posts having been re-chromed. As stated this car has a phenomenally straight and beautiful original body with all bonding strips intact. The under carriage is very original with bare fiberglass floors. The car has American mag wheels and the Black interior was replaced with the seat covers, door panels and Daytona carpet all consequently in great shape. The dash pad was replaced and gauges were rebuilt. The car has it's original chrome factory shifter and original White convertible soft top. Please note that the car has an aftermarket radio.

The car boasts it's original and optional CU code 270HP/283 ci engines with 2x4 carb, 4 speed manual transmission and metallic brakes and that there was a total production of only 4,175 with 4 speed manual transmission. The engine number is F203CU which would be correct for the car. The floor boards, trunk are completely solid and the undercarriage is rust-free and the car has had no signs of any accidents - obviously an always garaged and cherished car since new from the looks of it!
