1984 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
Here's a survivor-grade first-year C4 Chevrolet Corvette with ultra-low miles, a fuel-injected V8, and a timeless color combo. It's amazing you can get something this significant for such a value price.
1984 instantly gets collectors excited because it's the first year of the C4. And this is truly worthy of Survivor award fans with an example that has averaged less than 53 miles annually! The factory-applied Bright Silver Metallic paint is far from perfect, but that's also part of the charm of a true survivor. The real value is the clean and complete look. The body is in such good condition where the doors shut with confidence; the fenders are smooth and unmarked from curbs; and the pointed front end is still crisp and iconic. It has gone so few places that you'll be hard-pressed to even find a scratch on the now-conic alloy wheels.
The interior was sealed off to the world to truly deliver a time capsule look and feel inside. After all, such low mileage means little time for wear. So you'll love the look of everything, right down to the body-hugging leather seats. The dual-spoke steering wheel was purposely designed to give you a commanding view of the unique instrument cluster. The digital gauges were futuristic when they were introduced, and on a car this seldom used, they look particularly bright and crisp. But more than just the gauges, as you gaze across the entire interior, everything looks great and correct. This is loaded with power windows, power locks, power seats, factory air conditioning (will need a service/recharge), and a Bose AM/FM/cassette stereo. The 1984 car also debuted the targa roof, so it's perfect for getting the wind-in-your-hair feeling when you do add to the ultra-low odometer.
Even the engine bay remains exceptionally stock, right down to the decals. So while the fuel-injected small block is one of those perfect motors for tuning, this numbers-matching example remains as factory fresh as the rest of the car. And that's exactly the kind of powerplant you want in such a nicely preserved sports car. With a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, cruise control, and a fully independent suspension, this Corvette has all the right features to be ready for the grand tour. So you not only want to show this one off, but also you'll happily drive further to do it.
A special survivor like this needs good paperwork, and so the sale includes the dealer invoice and owner's manual packet. If you love a Corvette just like Bowling Green built it, don't let this first-year icon slip away, call today!
