Please visit for additional photos, information and a video. You are looking at an absolutely breathtaking 1958 Chevrolet Cameo Restomod! This truck is fully restored and heavily modified to make it as comfortable as a new truck. The professional black paint job is extremely deep and is paired with a beautiful Pewter metallic on the roof and bed accents. Five spoke Panther chrome wheels are wrapped in Michelin radial tires in 235/60R18 all around. These trucks are known for being more elegant and stylish up than their 3100 counterparts. Only 1,405 Cameos were produced in 1958 making this a rare treat. The bed has a hidden fuel door under the Camaro emblem on the driver side which leads to a stainless fuel tank. Peek over the tailgate and you will see a very nice new wood floor with stainless strips. Hidden tailgate latches and automatic retracting cables are a very cool feature on this truck! Under the hood you will find a very clean engine compartment. The aluminum head 6.2 Liter Vortec V8 engine is the gem in the middle with a custom engine cover with Cameo on the sides and a cold air intake. The firewall, inner fenders and radiator support have all been smoothed and painted in that same high gloss black. An aluminum radiator with custom shroud keeps it nice and cool with a billet cap that blends in nicely but is easily accessible. Chrome hood springs and ceramic coated full-length headers provide a bit of sparkle under the hood. Those headers run to dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers for a nice rumble from chrome tips. All hoses and wiring have been hidden to keep this engine compartment as clean and simple as possible. The engine is bolted to a 4L60E automatic transmission which then sends the power out back to a 10-bolt rear end with a 4-link setup and adjustable coil-over shocks. A transmission cooler with electric fan has been installed under the truck as well. The front-end features power rack and pinion steering and coil springs for a great ride quality. 4-wheel power disc brakes not only look great behind the chrome wheels, but also offer plenty of stopping power for this half-ton pickup. You will be blown away by the quality of this build everywhere you look, and that includes the interior. Leather wrapped power bucket seats straddle a custom center console with newer style shifter, power window switches, custom key and Clarion AM/FM/CD player with flip up screen. Vintage Air A/C has been added with billet controls in the center console. In the custom overhead console you will find another screen. This one is paired with a back-up camera, making it much easier to safely park at car shows. A chrome steering column with tilt steering and custom leather wrapped steering wheel not only look great, but make this truck very easy to get in and out of. Dakota Digital gauges are a nice upgrade that offer tracking for top speeds, fuel economy, ¼ mile times and more. Custom door panels, kick panels and headliner are the icing on the cake and really make this truck stand apart. Not that you'll be parked next to another Cameo anyway! Even the underside of this truck is special. It is fully restored and ready to show. Custom touches like a billet battery box with hot rod flames, stainless fuel tank, nicely plumbed exhaust and the 4-link will have you putting mirrors under the truck at any car show you attend.
