1966 Chevelle SS Convertible with a 396 / 375 hp big block 4 speed. This is an excellent candidate for a great restoration! It is NOT a clone or tribute. Car currently shows it's factory color and interior combination. Car needs restoration but, runs, drives, and stops good. All trim, interior, and drive line components are there. Engine holds good oil pressure and does NOT smoke, knock, etc... 4 speed (M-20) shifts good and the 12 bolt posi (373 gears) rear functions good with no noises or problems. Interior is not perfect but, has no rips. Power Convertible top is in good shape and operates as it should. Car has power brakes with a disk conversion up front and factory power steering. Engine is a 1966 396 / 375 hp with it's solid lifter cam but, no numbers ever stamped on the deck, indicating that it could have been a warranty replacement. Transmission has also been replaced at some point. 12 bolt rear end is original according to the numbers stamped on it. Floor and trunk pans are solid. Transmission hump has had some modifications done for the installation of an aftermarket Hurst competition plus shifter. Car has what appears to be the original spare tire but, no jack. Overall, the body will need some work and paint but, no holes or major rust exists. Frame and body supports are also solid as well as the front end components. Wipers (motor runs), reverse lights, and radio are the only items that do not work. Doors and windows function with no issues and all glass is great. Buyer makes all shipping arrangements.
