1968 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Additional Info:
Duffy's is proud to offer a great little 1968 Chevrolet Corvair Monza II. Chevrolet produced the Corvair between 1960 and 1969. In this time they rolled out nearly 2 million Corvairs in many body styles ranging from a two door convertible to a ramp side pickup truck. Corvairs featured a unique rear engine, rear wheel drive layout that was not common for American cars of the time. The engine was a horizontally opposed 6 cylinder which sat behind the rear seats. Displacement varied over the years, but never exceeded 2.7 Liters. The Corvair was lightweight, and featured a small fuel efficient engine. The car really was ahead of its time considering most other cars on the road were twice the weight and size and featured a thirsty V8 under the hood. This particular Corvair is a convertible so the fuel efficiency can be enjoyed with the top down and the wind in your hair. The great thing about this example is, now listen close, it is a one family owned vehicle with only 14k miles . It is primarily an original car with only the soft items that have to work having been replaced. When we got it it had the original tires on it! The car features the original 110 horse pwer 164 CI Turbo 6 with Powerglide automatic transmission with the shifter on the dash, which is fun and easy to drive. This one is wearing it's Grecian Green color with a contrasting Gold interior. Up front low back bucket seats look a bit sporty, and there's room for 2-3 more passengers in the back. Options include: AM radio, full hub caps, seat belts, vinyl interior, and white wall tires It comes with loads of documents including the Protect-O-Plate, owners manual, and receipts. How often do you find a one family owned car with less than 14k miles.
