Cool looking, cool temperature classic car with Factory A/C converted to R-134a. Upgrades include Wilwood brakes, new Ridetech adjustable suspension, new Chrome Master cylinder & Chrome booster, Factory A/C converted to R-134a with newer style compressor. new tires, new paint color(similar to 2005 Corvette, but more metallic), electric ignition, interior upgrade, upgraded sound system, and many more features.
This 1973 one year only numbers matching Stingray has been my Cruiser and Cruise-In's car for almost 5 years, sadly I must sell it to make room for my son's car. Its a dependable Stingray that I drive about 1,000 miles a year, and it gets frequent thumbs up and rubbernecking.
This is a Corvette that can be your dependable comfortable cruiser for trips and your local Cruise-In's. I've been on 200 mile trips keeping up with traffic going above the 75mph speed limit and its the car that starts when other hotrods have problems (it happened to me several times).
This lower compression motor could be a great for turbo, or supercharging applications. It's an SBC, with tons of potential !
I have restored and improved this 'Vette with Factory AC, converted to R-134 (added a VIR Valves-In-Receiver Eliminator Kit for better AC efficiency), New Ridetech adjustable suspension, new Chrome Master cylinder & Chrome booster, New Custom Autosound Stereo, New Pioneer Speakers, Attention getting metallic Orange paint, upgraded to a newer Corvette color with 6 coats of clear that glistens in sunlight(and shows multi color hues), new carpet(w/extra thick insulation added), upgraded to leather upholstery, upgraded new door panels, upgraded to electronic ignition for better dependability, but still has original cable drive tachometer distributor, new Cooper performance tires, less then 1000 miles miles on them.
In addition, this Corvette has nice Factory Side pipes (not the leg burner style) - sounds great, functional Cowl induction - original from the factory, Limited Slip (posi) rear-end, Tilt and telescoping steering column, Power steering, and a classic custom wood rimmed steering wheel (not currently installed).
Also this is a partial list of items replaced or repaired; 4 new brake calipers, pads, master cylinder, suspension control arms, shocks, front & rear alignment, repaired tachometer, added electronic ignition, replaced front bumper, repair tilt & telescoping steering column, replace side mirrors, repair vacuum headlights, replaced missing spare tire tub(added a spare), added missing jack, front sway bar repair, and numerous misc items.
