1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Additional Info:

Corvette Grand Sport by Mongoose Motor Sports. This car was built as close to the original as possible. The fiberglass body rides on the same type 4" tubular frame, but modified to accept the all aluminum C4 suspension. The larger C5 brakes are also incorporated. The engine is a custom built 383 stroker (not a crate engine), developing 515 HP @5900 RPM. 491 ft-lbs of tq @ 4800 RPM. Transmission is a Tremec TKO-600 5-speed with a Quicktime bell housing. A Dana 44 w/3:42 gears make up the rear end. The wheels are pin drive knockoffs with Michelin Sport Pilots. The side pull out and rear windows are Plexiglass. The car weighs in at approx. 2,550 lbs. with only 1,040 miles. Three complete albums available. Album One has full documentation and pictures of build from Gary Krause with Mongoose Motor Sports, Album Two is all receipts of build, and Album Three is documentation and receipts of hand-built 383 stroker. Comes with another set of seats for a larger driver, two additional sets of baffles, two splitters, chrome valve covers and air cleaner, touch-up paint, and premium flannel car cover from Corvette America.
