1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:
This is a ground up drag race effort. Was built and raced about 5 times, then the owner died of a massive stroke. I am helping his wife liquidate the car. As you can well imaging, she knows exactly what she has, and is in no way in a desperate or motivated frame of mind.
All parts were new, it's an all steel body except the trunk and hood. Those are fiberglass. New window glass, all the rubber moldings are new, every roller and bushing in the doors are new. The windows and lights all work. All new wiring, all the lenses, bumpers, grill emblems all new. The floor and firewall were removed and have been replaced to accommodate the frame and roll cage. Removable trans tunnel. New Aerospace brakes, Turbo 400 w/ trans brake, New Scott Shafiroff 632 cubic inch BBC. This motor has the Brodix Head Hunter 375 oval port heads. Jessel Shaft rockers, etc. A1 6200 converter
Getting used to the car my friend ran an best of 6:02 1/8 mile w/ 3000 launch chip (no quarter mile passes ever made)
