This is my neighbors corvette. They don't have an ebay account ( I know, I couldn't believe it either! ). It's been a lot of fun over the past 19 years, but it's time to turn it over to someone who will keep it going for many years to come. . .The car is an original yellow car with black interior. Power Windows, AM/FM stereo, T-Tops, A/C ( not hooked up; all the parts will be included ). The car comes with the original matching numbers block on a stand, with a "hot" cam, 1.6 ratio roller tip rocker arms, big valve heads, and double roller timing chain, Moroso oil pump, all w/less than 1000 miles on them! ( but will need a rebuild ) However, it's not the one that's installed in the car now. . .
In the car now is a 265HP, 5.7 GM crate motor! With the headers and custom exhaust it really makes the car come alive! Also installed are urethane bushings throughout the whole suspension. All 4 shocks were replaced at the same time. All have about 1000 miles on them. The rubber door and window seals were recently replaced. The brake pads were replaced, calipers rebuilt, and the carb has been rebuilt within the last year. New fuel pump, new Interstate battery, and brand new raised white letter 245/60/15 Cooper tires on the car!
This car really hauls the mail, as they say, and looks great doing it!
We've put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into our baby, but life goes on, and the car just isn't in our plans right now. This car is a great running and driving classic car; and as so, will always need tinkering! Don't be expecting a trailer queen! She's 28 years old, and has some "character lines" to prove it. The car was repainted back around 2003, but now the paint has some chipping, mostly on the urethane bumpers, and around the bottom of the rear window. The interior is in "okay" condition, it's just not going to win you any awards at the car shows. The passenger window doesn't operate, even though there's a new motor in the door.
