You are bidding on my 1937 Chevrolet Two Door Sedan. This car has been in my family since before my birth in 1965. This car belonged to my father and I drove it for a few years in high school. My plan was to restore it, but my desire to do so outpaced my financial ability. I have come to a place where I can no longer store it and the reality of me having the funds to restore it diminishes with every passing year; it’s time for her to go.

My original intentions were to restore this car to original, using all of the original running gear and staying true to the factory design. I understand that not everyone is as nostalgic as I and you may be looking to Hot Rod it, or something worse. Whatever your intentions, if they are not to stick with the original, I want you to lie to me. Tell me you will restore it and I will feel better about letting it go. Once you are done with whatever your evil plan is I guess I will want to see a picture; my sorrow will then be complete and I will cry and move on.

All of the parts are here with the car. The buyer MUST take ALL of the car with them. If you don’t want some of the items, tough, you have to take it all! I no longer have a place to store it and I want it gone so I can move on (can you tell this hurts?). I have the original engine, transmission, body parts, glass, upholstery (to use as patterns if needed), seats, etc.

There are a few “new” parts to go too and the original grill is in pretty good shape. The grill will need to be chromed but will look awesome when it is done. This car is of course “what you see is what you get”. It is completely disassembled (except for the read end and drive line) and will need complete restoration. No warranty is offered, expressed, or implied and the vehicle is in non-running condition (duh). The engine is original and will need repair. You will also need the engine serial number on the block to verify ownership as that number is the VIN. This vehicle has the title from California but I’m confident it is no longer in their system. I don’t foresee any issues getting it transferred in to your state and in your name. If you have questions let me know.

This is very much a sad day for me but I am finally being real; I must let this car go to someone with more money, time, and space than I have. My loss is your gain. Remember, lie to me!

This will be a full 10 day auction to get maximum exposure time to find the right buyer. I will need the vehicle to be picked up and gone NO LATER THAN June 28th, 2016. Pick up location is Sun City, Arizona. I will provide reasonable assistance in getting the vehicle loaded by your carrier. I reserve the right to define “reasonable assistance” and the buyer will pay for ALL expenses for moving the vehicle. I recommend a U-Haul and transport, or similar set up, to move the car and the components.
