Here for sale in El Paso, Texas is this numbers matching 1971 El Camino. This is a good looking car that turns heads everywhere I go. It looks great in hotrod black with the killer 17 Eagle alloy wheels ! This is a true numbers matching car ( original engine from the factory). That alone should speak volumes about this car. It is a factory A/C car that needs a new bearing, belt and a charge to get the air conditioner working again.It is also a power steering car. The engine has some upgrades done to it, but is not rebuilt. It has a new Edelbrock 4 barrel 600 cfm carburetor with a new Edelbrock aluminum intake, new HEI distributor upgrade with MSD wires. It has a true dual exhaust system that sounds good. The transmission is a Th350 automatic that shifts smooth. This car is reliable, and will need valve stem seals installed. The headlights, turn signals, horn, brake light, dash lights and cab light are in working order. This classic is basically original stock with the appearance of a Hot Rod. This is still a project and is NOT fully restored. The paint is not perfect showing flaws and It obviously needs interior work . This is what one calls a 10 footer. You can see the carpet was pulled out and you can still see the original jute padding on the floor. This car is in pretty good condition for a 50 year old car. I do know the passenger door was replaced at one time (fender bender )Again, If you are looking for a fully restored car, please look somewhere else. This is a project car and NOT a fully restored vehicle. If it was, I guarantee I would be asking 3 times more for it. I am sure you can find one for $30,000.00 in perfect condition.
