1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Additional Info:
Attention collectors- this is a genuine RS-SS documented with original trim tag, original invoice and protect-o-plate. #s matching motor, colors. Born with factory gauge package. This is an investment grade car.
EXTERIOR: Very clean, solid body. Fits nice, doors shut nice. Has an older paint job that's proven itself. Finished in the original ermine white with painted nose stripe. The Rally Sport includes the hidden headlights, stainless rocker moldings and and reverse lights mounted below the bumper. New 14x7 rally wheels with reproduction redline tires. Door jambs are nice, weather strips are replaced. Black convertible power top is very nice.
INTERIOR: Overall the interior is good, it's not beat up or abused. Carpet is slightly faded. It does have the factory tachometer and gauge cluster on the console. The light at the back of the console works. Still has original Am radio. Door panels, dash pad, upholstery are all in very nice condition.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Exceptionally nice under the hood. Has it's VIN number match 350 engine. Everything is detailed to look factory. The motor is very neatly painted. Has the proper valve covers, manifolds, even the heat shields around spark plugs. It also features power steering. The alternator, fuel pump, fan shroud etc look proper. All the metal is super clean with a nice satin finish. Has instulation on the bottom of the hood. The wiring looks excellent, has GM hose clamps and spring clamp battery cables. Original trim tag is on the firewall and in 67 that gives a lot of good information verifying the car's options.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is complete- has a rally wheel spare, the correct jack, trunk mat, shaker cans are still in each corner. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted nicely, has new weather strip. Solid metal with a nice spatter finish.
UNDERSIDE: It is actually very impressive under the car. It has been off the frame and completely restored. Very clean metal with a nice satin black finish. Even the chassis components are smooth clean metal painted neatly. The front end is completely rebuilt- balljoints, bushings, shocks. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter and fuel pump look new. Powerglide trans also looks fresh, has chrome pan. U-joints look new. Has original 12 bolt rear end with 3.07 gears. Newer correct dual exhaust with transverse muffler. Fuel tank, sending unit and lines were replaced. Brakes were redone, hoses and lines replaced. E-brake is hooked up.
Try and find a documented RS-SS convertible with matching #s. I doubt you will and even if you did it won't be body off frame restored for under $50,000. This is an investment you can enjoy!
