1971 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Additional Info:
This 1971 Chevrolet C10 custom is a very cool representation of a nicely restored factory-style truck that's also received upgrades in the right places. So look over all the details on this thoughtfully done two-tone machine.
Hugger Orange and white are terrific on a classic. It takes one of Chevy's most iconic colors and layers in a creamy finish so that it looks both sleek and vintage all in the first glance. And they invested in far more than just a quality paint job. The full-length side trim not only provides a distinct dividing line for much of the two-tone, but also it highlights the crispness of the body panels. And the striking black coordinates with both the tonneau cover and bed mat underneath. Also as a true classic American, it needs proper brightwork. So everything from the bumpers to the door handles have a proper shine of investment.
Just like the exterior, the interior was restored to appear original and feel quite fresh. And you'll also spot some worthwhile upgrades. The bright orange returns on the metal pieces, and it's joined by a tasteful black on the taut door panels, soft dash pad, and plush carpeting. The steering wheel is Chevy's classic-style sports unit and it gives you a clear view to the crisp and classic gauges. The bench seat has the look of vintage and the feel of a recent investment. Plus, you can have a more individualized experience whenever you want with the removable cup holder center console.
This is the kind of motor you want to put on display when you love a vintage pickup. The block paint, air topper, and overall tidy presentation gives this the look of stock pickup that hasn't been away from the factory too long. So you'll be especially happy to hear that this 307 cubic-inch V8 is a year-correct block that the consignor states is original to the truck. It runs quite nicely and makes a nice sound out of the Magnaflow dual exhaust (and don't forget to check out those big pipes in the ultra-tidy undercarriage photos.) The V8 connects to a smooth-shifting TH400 three-speed automatic transmission on its way to the 12-bolt rear end. This has more nice cruising features, like a power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and the C10's desirable trailing arm rear suspension. Plus, the upgraded 20-inch alloys not only look great, but also they allow you to fit modern performance tires for superior grip.
This is classic C10 that has been given love in all the right places. So don't miss this deal, call today!
