1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:

Up for auction is a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. It has a rebuilt 230 I6 with Powergide trans. Manual steering and brakes. This is a one owner car from California. Still has the original California black plates. Registration expired in Feb 2019. This was bought new in 1966. The man bought it and drove it for several years then gave it to his daughter for collage. After collage she moved on and gave it back to her dad. Title remained in both their names. She took possession of the car in late 2018 when her father passed. She had no interest in it so I picked it up. I was saving it for a future project but medical issues got in the way. I was going to build a nice street car but not anymore. going to get rid of most my toys soon. It runs and drives great with no problems . I just put a new exhaust manifold on it. Original was cracked. rebuilt the carb, new distributor, new aluminum radiator, new brass freeze plugs, new alternator and voltage regulator. New battery. Pulled wheels and checked brakes. They look fairly new. Wheel cylinders are not even rusted. Only damage on body is right front bumper and fender. See pics. There is some rust in the trunk floor, right and left front floor but. Rear floors rockers, body and frame are solid. The rest of the body is solid. Rocker panels are great and no rust. Some small dings on car but nothing bad. Looks to have one repaint in original white. Interior is all original and needs restored. There is a container in the trunk with some of the missing interior parts.
