1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute Additional Info:
This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute is an icon done right. After all, it delivers enhanced small block V8 power, four-on-the-floor, and a terrific color combo all for one nice price.
These Chevelles always look particularly intimidating when finished in a glossy black. This aggressiveness is only enhanced by the high contrast white racing stripes. They have been cleared over to help add an extra smoothness to this fastback-like coupe. More of the powerful look comes from the cowl-induction hood, hood pins, and SS badging. There's also elegance within the aggression thanks to those shining chrome bumpers (and don't forget '72 was the final year they hugged the body form so nicely.) And the addition of Cragar Keystone wheels does a great job of representing both the classic shine and muscle car power.
White interiors always look terrific against the back exterior, especially when you also have the coordinating white accenting stripes on the outside. This was upgraded to a bucket seat car later in life, and these feel quite comfortable. There are also more comfort features like R12 air conditioning (needs servicing) and an upgraded AM/FM stereo with cassette. The bright color is easy to maintain because the vinyl cleans up in a snap. Plus, carpets are black so you never have to worry about taking your shoes off before hopping in and going for a drive... and that's exactly what this car was built to do. You have the correct dual-spoke steering wheel, comfortable center console, sporty round gauge panel, and cleanly installed auxiliary readouts. And we just know your right hand is instantly attracted to the Hurst shifter.
When you open the hood, the V8 likes to radiate within the dark engine bay with its bold block color, shining valve covers, and matching air topper. This 327 cubic-inch motor inhales deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as long tube headers add power while feeding the H-pipe dual exhaust. The electric choke means this fires up nicely, and the Flowmasters give it a proper muscle car sound. You get full control over it all thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. And when you get this coupe out on the road, features like power steering and wide radial tires give you a confident feeling.
This Chevelle has the right muscle car attitude to be a proper SS tribute. So when it looks this nice and is priced so well, you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
