1969 Chevrolet Corvette L46 Convertible Additional Info:
With a numbers-matching 350 V8 L46 & four-on-the-floor. A well-done all-red package makes this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette is everything you want in a fast and distinguished droptop Stingray.
The code 974-Monza Red is the factory-correct color, and it's one we love. After all, classic Corvette look great in red, and this one is even named after a racetrack. So it's sleek, sporty, and truly an all-American. In fact, with the white roof in place, this one has the same appeal and curves as a Coca-Cola bottle. This is a great year for brightwork with a good shine on the bumpers, trim, and side vents. Even the details are nice, like the optional luggage rack on the back and the redline tires that looks so cool against the paint.
As distinct as this one looks with the roof in place, a convertible is always better with the top down. The red interior is the factory-correct color, and so this was ordered from day one to be a full red-blooded American classic. It's a true vintage-style presentation, right down to the factory AM/FM radio. But you'll love this for more than its original style. After all, a Corvette is a terrific driver's machine. High-back bucket seats, a grippy three-spoke steering wheel, and a full array of gauges (including the large speedo and tach in front of you) all feel quite nice. And the bright shifter in the middle is just calling out for your right hand.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching L46 350 cubic-inch V8. Just like the rest of the car, it has a proper factory look with a bold orange block, bright distributor shield, and a big polished air topper with callout. This was the larger-power optional small block for '69, and so it offers a nice balance of power and weight. That makes for a classic that's ideal to take out for a drive. The numbers-matching four-speed manual transmission gives you control over the V8, and the fully independent suspension give you control over the road. And the power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes make the whole experience effortless.
This is a factory red-on-red Stingray droptop with the correct V8 and stick-shift fun. It checks all your boxes for a great classic, so don't miss out. Call now!
