1968 Chevrolet C10 Custom Long Bed
This is a single family truck purchased new by my grandfather in 1968. It has never been used commercially, and never been wrecked. VIN is available, but eBay couldn't look it up because the truck is too old.
This is the 307 cubic inch V8 Custom (mid-tier) trim mated to a 2-speed powerglide automatic transmission. It has 108,075 original miles and has always been kept in good running condition.
This truck was not equipped with power steering, power brakes, or A/C, but the factory AM radio, heater, and vent windows are all you need.
The truck drives as you would expect from a 1968 Chevy. It can be cumbersome to maneuver, but rock solid. The engine is factory, with no performance modifications at all, just regular tune ups and a rebuild that was done in 1984.
Spent most of its life in Georgia before being put in storage two years ago, so it's never seen salty or corrosive conditions.
This truck is a family treasure and I hate to sell it, but my career takes me overseas and I just don't foresee ever using it regularly or giving it the attention it deserves.
Buyer is responsible for arranging transport. I will accept either cash or certified check within 7 days of the close of the auction. I will try to work with the buyer on facilitating transport if I can, and I can either meet the buyer in Virginia and deliver the title in person, or I can send it via certified mail after funds are received.
