1987 Chevrolet Suburban Additional Info:
1987 Chevy Silverado Suburban has been owner documented and meticulously maintained. Owner has complete notebook with log of all maintenance records with expenses since new! Ask to see the notebook! This truck is in great condition and is a true survivor. The vehicle was originally delivered on 5/23/1987 with 47 miles. See pictures of the original window sticker, owner manual and other documents. This General Motors Suburban's two-tone paint is in great shape and hold a very nice shine. The exterior is in excellent condition, as the frame and underneath are very solid. You do not find them in this condition very often. The interior is in like-new condition! Inside this Suburban is a Silverado model with ice cold AC, power windows and locks, AC & rear heat option, and everything works. This Chevy Suburban has a great running 350 C.I. engine and a towing package. This Suburban drives down the road smooth. (description from the original dealer)I purchased this truck this past fall. Selling because I'm starting a new dream job that pays half as much as what I'm making now. Truck has to go. You'd be hard-pressed to find one cleaner. Rust-free, southern truck that's probably never seen snow. It's a 2WD with a tow package. You probably wouldn't want to drive this in the snow anyway. I was going to use it to pull a small camper for the family vacations. The previous owner kept meticulous records dating back to when the truck was new. I originally thought the motor had 180,000 miles until I looked through the paperwork and realized he had replaced the motor by GM at around 116,000 miles. This was replaced by the dealer and has a brand new motor. I actually have the receipt for the replacement motor. You can't even tell that the motor was replaced. Whoever did the replacement did an excellent job. I build transmissions so I know what good work looks like. So if my math is correct, this motor has approximately 65,000 miles on it. The transmission shifts great. I don't even think the backseats have been sat in. The interior on this truck is just incredible. The doors close very solidly. The carpet is in beautiful shape as is the headliner and the dash. If you're looking for a good summer cruising truck this is it! (The pictures and the first description of this truck were from the dealer I bought it from. This second description is my two cents after owning it for a little bit)
