Take a look at the work on this one! This 1969 Camaro just went through a fresh restoration and is the perfect touring setup.
The body is straight with slick paint and all new bright-work, trim, emblems, etc. This one is setup with the popular RS hideaway headlights. Everything on this car is new! All new interior with AutoMeter gauges, front buckets, center console with gauges, brand new power convertible top and more. To help keep the black interior comfortable in the warmer weather, it is running a complete Vintage Air setup.
The car is powered by a fresh in-house built LS1 with stage 3 cam and managed by a Holley Terminator X system. The engine is mated to a freshly built 4L80 Automatic transmission with a special order Circle D 3000 stall. The craftsmanship under the hood of this car is something to spend time looking at. Its much different than your typical LS swap. Our in-house tech wanted the engine to still give you the old school small block appearance so he fitted it with finned vintage style valve covers on Holley Performance adapters while running a carb style Holley intake and drive-by-wire throttle body setup. This allows for a factory air breather to be used which really ties it all together nicely. The car sounds and runs strong! The engine bay is not over done but is clean and very well-sorted.
Under the car you will find the bottom of the body to be completely treated with a POR-15 coating while the sub-frame, suspension and other components are a nice smooth satin black finish. Other items such as the sway bar, steering components, shocks, etc are finished in different contrasting colors to leave it looking show worthy. The car sits lower on lowering springs up front with tubular control arms and Hotchkis drop leafs in the rear. We fitted the chassis with sub-frame connectors and the rear has traction bars installed.
The car still packs a few surprises here and there that haven't been mentioned. All the interior lighting has been converted to LED. Additionally, the front headlights and parking lights are LED. There is a bypass switch under the dash to allow you to run the headlights with the headlight doors closed as shown in one of the photos. The overall presence of this car is excellent.
