1957 Chevrolet Corvette NCRS Additional Info:

HIGHLIGHTS:One of the nicest 1957 corvettes in the USA as evidence from two recent NCRS NATIONAL Top Flight Awards. A 97.8%score in 2017 and a 98.3% in 2018. This corvette is featured in the rare and correct Arctic Blue exterior with Beige interior. It is powered by a 283cid 270hp with dual quad carburetors. Being a late August 1957 built car it is also features an original 4-speed BorgWarner transmission. Additional features are: wonderbar radio, parking brake alarm, courtesy lights, heater, and windshield washers. Everything listed above was all judged 100% correct. Clean clear Texas title.

The corvette comes with documented owner history since new which also includes a magazine article from 1992 featuring this car. I am still in possession of the license plate that was photographed with the car in that article featuring the name of this Arctic Blue beauty “Blue Fox”.

BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight. It still has as all of the proper emblems and trim in place and is in excellent original condition. This car went through a frame off restoration in the late 1990’s and was then cosmetically restored again by me prior to the NCRS judging. The convertible top is a 5 years old and looks/fits nicely with one very small tear where it folds (this car doesn’t not come with a hard top).
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The car was re-painted in its’ original arctic blue. I would call it excellent condition with minor scratches and chips. This car is not a trailer queen although it looks like one. I drove it to both the San Antonio and Las Vegas National events.

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The beige interior is all new and shows only minor wear. The windshield glass does have some small delamination occurring on the passenger side bottom corner.

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is the correct V8 283cid 270hp motor with Dual Quad Carburetors and the correct 4-speed manual transmission. The car starts, runs, and drives as it should.The car is ready for a cross country trip as it is. I try to drive this car monthly and have taken it on two longs road trips of over 1,000 miles.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: Iconic 1957 Corvette, arguably the best year for the corvette. Looks, drives and sounds amazing. I have binders of information about the corvette as well as additional photos and videos I can provide.

The car comes with 2 sets of tires and wheels. One correct arctic blue painted wheels with bias ply tires for judging and one modern wheel with radial tires for safer driving.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR:There is absolutely nothing to not like expect maybe the room between your belly and the steering wheel.

The corvette does have a Texas state issued VIN tag retaining the original VIN of the corvette. The corvette was taken to the Texas motor vehicle theft department to do a VIN check to verify that the vehicle was never stolen, salvaged, or that the VIN was never assigned to a different vehicle in the national database. Then a VIN check was completed by raising the body off the frame to verify that the frame VIN stamp matched the vehicle and Title. After all this was confirmed and certified you can be rest assured that the vehicle is 100% correct and original. All the NCRS National Awards were awarded after the issuance of the state tag. I have all the documentation from Texas and NCRS relative to the car’s originality.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? No, every thing on this car is in perfect working condition.
