Thank you for checking out my auction. This is one cool Chevy that attracts attention no matter where it goes. I found this truck in Archie Missouri about three years ago. It was brought up from Texas in the early 2000's. It was purchased as a father and son project by the previous owner. The truck overall is real solid. The only bad spots are within the top side of the bed, behind the cab, and a couple of small spots within the floors. My goal with the Chevy was to build it into an old patina shop truck that I could cruise comfortably in while having all the modern amenities. Something I didn't have to concern myself over scratching.
This 3100 was professionally mounted on an S10 frame. It sits on a set of Corvette Rallys. It has disc brakes that work exceptionally well, power steering, tilt, and a ten bolt rear end. The engine is a healthy 350 that has a brand new Edelbrock 750 on it. The 350 Turbo transmission shifts out smoothly. The truck has a new dual exhaust setup that sounds great. I have had the bench seat redone and I redid the door panels myself. The kick panels need recovered. This truck is not perfect but it is a real solid cruiser that someone can put their final touches on while saving a lot of $. If I were to end up keeping it, I would definitely update the gauges, different steering wheel, replace the hood springs, & latch, little things.
