1962 Chevrolet Corvair 4 DOOR 900 WAGON Additional Info:
Here for sale is my 1962 Chevy Corvair Monza 900 Wagon, very rare as only 2,362 were built and was the last of only 2 years for the wagon built (1961 had 2 versions). Neater and priced more affordably than most classic Chevys. A little over 105,700 actual miles which will be listed on the title which is clear and in my name, Ohio legal. Has a factory roof rack and more than enough '62 Monza caps in a box of many parts, some NOS. The car is originally a California car, from Orange County, and registered last in 1979. Somewhere along the way it came to Ohio where it sat and what damage is done occurred (rust). Original colors are outside Adobe Beige and interior Fawn Beige and green accents. The motor is not original, it is a '62 or '63 car motor, automatic transmission. ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD AND THERE!, unusual, with a brand new LOF stamped NOS windshield I found in a warehouse. Included is a new windshield rubber gasket. The driver's side rear quarter glass is fine, just not installed and in the back. The front door window glass is rolled down and go up and down fine. The motor is not stuck and turns by wrench. Have many extra parts to complete (dash, etc.). There is rust out under the rear seat and rear floor pans and in the gutter channel inside the trunk close to the master cylinder, a common problem. Front floor pans are good. Have all 4 door handles in a box like new. The care rolls well and is not brake stuck. The 2 passenger doors have rust at the edges and bottoms (I would find new ones). The hood is from California, off a '63 and lift gate from down south, has a nice glass window. Please feel free to ask any questions and observe the photos carefully as this car is sold AS IS with no guarantees or warrantees or returns, being a vintage used restoration car. Shipping is solely the responsibility of the buyer and it will have to be trailered or flatbedded. A $500 non-refundable Pay Pal deposit is due with sale with the balance being by cash at pick-up or cashier's bank check which will have to clear before car and title can be released, within 7 days. The actual selling price will be stated on the title (I don't want either of us to go to jail). We are 15 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio with easy access from State Rt. 90. Thanks much for looking, additional photos can be sent through Ebay. NO TRADES, I need the space. Thanks again!
