1963 Chevrolet Corvette split window stingray sport coupe
327 ci 300 hp 4 speed all numbers matching throughout. Motor transmission rear end diffNever modified whatsoever or altered.
Original FM stereo, purchase new in Tacoma Washington in 1963 of April. Was hardly ever driven till 1974 last current registration was in 1975.
It was put away in the year of 1974 due to the owner who passed away, kept in a storage from 1974 till 2017 When I purchased it from the families estate.
I was absolutely amazed by this barn find the paint is all original outside of a few spot paints. Still has the lacquer finish from the factory
All the interior is all original that would include the seats the material carpeting headliner visor dash components radio steering wheel and on and on and on
I have never seen this type preservation on a car ever. this vehicle has all the original documents since new that will be shown in the ad
When I acquired it I had it taken to my professional mechanic in Molalla Oregon the complete drive train from the radiator all the way to the gas tank everything has been rebuilt keeping it in its originality
Over thirty thousand plus dollars was spent on this vehicle with less than 200 miles
that would include the motor to transmission the rear end the differential brakes shocks bushings on and on the list goes
While the vehicle is on the auction if need be you can speak to my mechanic that can tell you the entire history of the drive train and everything he did to itand he could explain all the factory date codes on the entire drive trainwhich he was amazed of it's originality
the vehicle still has the original undercoating from the factory and all the original weatherstripping, all the original equipment on the vehicle numbers matching throughout glass trim chrome it's all original I also have the original 17 spoke hubcaps with the original steel wheels 15 inch by 5 and 1/2 date code also it has the second set of redline tires bias-ply which I believe they're the second set shown in the pictures they are like new I don't not even believe they're weather cracked they were taking off the vehicle in 1974 from what I was told with less than one thousand original miles on them they also go with the vehicle
This vehicle is absolutely 0% rusted not a complete repaint, car was never in any accidents. it is very rare to see one of these type of vehicles in this condition there is a few touch ups on the paint that I did not want to repaint and a few imperfections inside the vehicle which is next to nothing this is a real meal deal there's a lot of pictures on the ad including videos the original spare tire was never used since new. and the list goes on and on the old school aluminum rims that are shown on the vehicle are over 45 years old they were also taking off the vehicle and they're like an absolute mint condition with a brand new set of hankook tires it also has the original factory cleared Corvette floor mats I can speak till I'm blue in the face seeing is believing
When you're looking at the undercarriage look at the bell housing we wanted to leave that original paint on it to show you how original this car is and if you ever wanted to have that painted you could, we just felt that it was important to keep it on for the patina of the vehicle
