1969 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:
I recently bought this car from a friend of mine, I restore cars as a profession. I put about 100 miles on it after buying it.
It’s a 1969 Camaro convertible restomod. It was frame off restored in 2003 to 2005. The car was completely stripped, every piece disassembled, all nuts and bolts replaced. It currently has 5798 miles since the restoration. The motor is a 300 horsepower corvette LT1 and 700r4 automatic transmission holds good oil pressure and shifts perfect. There is NO!! Rust at all anywhere (except deck lid)
The car has a Be Cool radiator with twin spal fans, vintage air conditioning, billet serpentine front runner assembly, auto meter carbon fiber ultra lite gauges, 12 bolt factory rear end with 373 gears, new gas tank, external fuel pump, new gaskets, seals, chrome and stainless look great, glass is all new, alpine stereo, focal speakers, kicker subs and amps, factory electric windows, tilt column, stainless headers, BM quick silver shifter, new top, new interior dynamat floors with new carpet. Frame was blasted and Powder coated. Bottom of the car was also blasted and painted with a bed coating, which looks great! Fire wall smoothed and inner fenders painted. Car has new but factory brakes, shocks, and suspension. Paint really looks great! Silver stripes were painted on and cleared over. Gaps are good, fit is good, I’ve painted cars my whole life. It has one ding rear quarter (no paint damage) has a little rust in trunk lid where spoiler is probably leaking water into trunk lid. See attached photo. Leaks a touch of power steering fluid, passenger door mirror is broke. Squeaks a little when turning (looks like the universals are close to headers and probably need replaced or greased.
Car drives like a new 69 Camaro and looks pretty cool!
