1960 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 -- Additional Info:
This 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air is a sweet-looking time capsule with coordinating colors, glittering chrome, and proper V8 power. Plus, this restored classic has that classic cruising silhouette we all can't resist.
This 1960 Bel Air was part of a bold generation from Chevy that was only with us for a short time, but it left a lasting impression. So it's no wonder they chose this year for a thorough restoration. Completed in 2018, this coupe has a serious shine on those chrome king bumpers, and the blue paint takes advantage of modern clearcoats for a nice luster. And this package really does a great job of highlighting our favorite parts. The white on the roof is a nice contrast to draw extra attention to that cool curve. And speaking of contrast, the long side trim really stands out against the blue in all its jet-like glory. And the bright rear panel shines just below that artful trunk line.
All the shades of blue inside and out give you the feeling of cruising in an ocean wave. A good restoration means many of the main components have a fresh feeling, and the wide bench seats a couch-like comfy thanks to the cloth upholstery. And the dash, side panels, headliner, and carpeting all look nice, too. These are the kind of details that make you want to invite family and friends along for the ride, and on a full-size classic like this, there's plenty of room. And if you love a good classic feeling, this one delivers in every way - from the stylish steering wheel to the AM radio that's still on display.
Under the hood, the engine bay continues this tidy classic feeling with new smooth inner fenders and a painted firewall. The Chevy orange block radiates nicely against the classily black components. This 283 V8 fires up nicely and runs well, which reaffirms the quality work that went into it. Power brakes and the automatic transmission are great for any time driving ease. And because this is a true cruiser, the restoration included newer suspension and steering components.
Complete with the owner's manual and build receipts, this is the distinctive year Chevy that's restored for added classic car distinction. So don't let this well-done Bel Air slip away. Call today!!!
