1964 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop PROJECT includes 1964 X frame rolling chassis
The complete 1964 Impala is in restorable condition. It’s complete as far as I can tell for the most part. It has a 283 V8 that turns over and was said to run and be original to the car along with the Powerglide transmission. It has a front bench seat, and both front and rear could be restored. It has the stock am radio and the dash is un-cut. There are some screw holes on the underside of the dash. And the upper dash pad on the passenger side is in poor shape. The interior panels are there in rather poor shape. The steering wheel and instrument cluster are fair. The odometer reads 67881.5 and is thought correct. The body speaks for itself. It needs quarter bottoms and wheel well edges. The drivers door needs hinge pins. The doors are salvageable as are the hood and deck lid. The bumpers look pretty clean and the glass is all intact. Look at the photos. The body will need a floor pan, and a trunk pan.
Oh yeah I need to mention the frame is completely rusted out, gone completely under the front drivers side. With the frame this rotted away this car cannot be driven on the road. I’m not sure if yard driving is a possibility but it may be. I cannot verify that at this time.
Included in this sale for the complete Impala is another mostly complete rolling chassis. Lots of extras on this box x-frame chassis like all the control arms and front and rear suspension, pan hard bar, all the steering components, all the brakes and hardware, and there’s even a driveshaft peeking out of the center tunnel. I’m not sure which half is worth more so I’m just gonna sell them together as one single project. The complete car was a garage find that was there for years. Green title from 1976 for the complete car. Bill of sale for the chassis if needed.
There are a few rust holes, scratches, and various dents and dings. This vehicle is 55 years old, and sells without warrantee guarantee or promisee. This will be an as-is sale.
Vehicle is located in Brimley MI 49715.
